Buena Vista Street

By D.Z.
Buena Vista Street is a whole new area at Disney's California Adventures. This area starts from the moment you walk into the park. In the center of it all is the Carthay Circle Theater. It is a replica of the theater where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered.

As you look around, you will find lots of shops. Inside, they have Mickey ears, t-shirts, key chains, pins and much more.

Riding around Buena Vista Street are trolley cars. Here you hop on for a little ride. Once in a while, a show is preformed on one of the cars. For more information, visit our shows and entertainment post.

Another cool thing is that Buena Vista Street has is a newspaper. The newspaper is different every month. This month (October) the cover was all about Halloween time. These newspapers are free and are very cool to have.

If you are in need for a quick bite to eat, Disney has lots of carts set up where you can purchase drinks and snacks.

As you can tell, Buena Vista Street has a lot to do. Next time you are in the park, be sure to explore Buena Vista Street.

Cars Land is one place to visit day and night. At sunset, Disney plays Sh-Boom and place by place lights up Cars Land. Just like in the first movie. When this event happens, everyone gets really excited. It is the start of the night time life at Cars Land!

Star Wars Miniland

By D.Z.
Legoland California has something really cool. Star Wars is the newest area in Miniland. This project was announced back in January of 2011. It opened on March 31 that year. Ever since it has been a big success. It really is a must see, though a little small. Just in January, Legoland announced that they will be expanding the experience by adding a gallery. What they did was add some small models of the Star Wars characters. Be sure to check out Star Wars Miniland next time you are in the park. Soon Legoland Florida will be opening their Star Wars Miniland so stay tuned.
