Today, Yamaha celebrated its 125th anniversary at Disney's California Adventures! The celebration was a live concert that broadcast LIVE for about four hours. When Disney announced the all new quest 'A Pirates Adventure', it made me think about how many pirate experiences have been added to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Pirates of the Caribbean Sneak Peek!
At Disneyland Park, they celebrated the all new movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides by showing ten minute previews in 3D. This also offered a great new experience where pirates would come and interact with guests before the show. The sneak peek ran for a couple months.

In the beginning of May 2011, Disneyland held the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides premiere. Stars who walked down the 'black carpet' include Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Jerry Bruckhiemer and much more.
Not too long ago, Disney's Hollywood Studios announced an all new experience. "Legends of Captain Jack Sparrow" opened December 6th. Here, Captain Jack teaches you how to be apart of the crew. This walk through experience included lots projections and special effects. The video (above) shows how Disney created the experience.

As you can tell, the Disney Parks on both coasts have a lot of great pirate adventures. Of course the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction is still open! Speaking of Pirates of the Caribbean, the 5th movie is set to come out July 2015!

Today at the construction site of the all new Legoland Hotel, the media learned what to look forward to this year at the Legoland California Resort! As we know, the Legoland Hotel opens on April 5, 2013! Legoland California Resort's General Manager Peter Ronchetti also talked about a few more things.
1. A all new experience in 4D called "LEGO Legends of Chima!" Coming this spring.
2. We already know the Legoland Hotel is going to be an exciting experience. What will be even better is having a kid be the concierge. Starting today, you can sign your kid up for the Junior Concierge Competition! A few lucky kids will have the chance to work at the hotel during a weekend. They will even have their own desk in the main. The winer also includes gets a stay at the hotel, and park hopper tickets. For more information visit legoland.com/juniorconcierge!
As you can see, there is a lot to look forward to this year at Legoland! We will hopefully be out at the hotel once it opens. In addition, the hotel will supply about 250 jobs.
Announced yesterday on the Disney Parks Blog, the Wilderness Explorers experience is coming soon to Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom. Disney's California Adventure has had this experience for a while now. It is based on the Disney Pixar film "Up." Here you are able to test your outdoor knowledge by completing a bunch of challenges, that will earn you merit badges.

Sea Life Aquarium is accessible while your inside Legoland California! Of course, you can always get in Sea Life without purchasing a Legoland ticket, but its great to do both!
Sea Life is home to lots of underwater creatures. You can see most of them in the Journey of Atlantic tank.
A new exhibit at Sea Life is called "Claws!" Here you get to see many fascinating creatures from lobsters to the Japanese spider crab!

Legoland California has lots of great shows. My favorite is Fun Town's The Big Test. During the holiday time, the show is called The Big Test Holiday Show! Every part of the show will make you laugh. Your kids will love the show, especially if they sit in the first three rows. (WET ZONE) The show is about some volunteer firefighters getting ready for a holiday party.This show is about fifteen minutes. Here are some photos!
Have your kids never seen snow? Now they can at Legoland California during Holiday Snow Days! Here you are able to build a snowman, go down a small snow slide, and even throw snow balls at targets. After a fun time in the snow, you can go meet LEGO Santa and check out the LEGO Christmas tree. Lots of fun!
