Pirate Reef Legoland

By D.Z.
The newest attraction at the Legoland California Resort is one of the best. Pirate Reef will get you soaked as you go down a drop drenching 2 battling pirate ships. This ride is located at the back of the park, in Pirate Shores. You child will love this ride, especially on a hot summer day! This ride was announced back in January during a press conference and opened in the end of May. As you can tell, it is very new and great ride.

The two ships (Captain Red Brick and Blue Brick) are battling when the ride vehicle (a boat) dops down 25 feet drentching the ships. When you get off the ride, you get to go on the ships and join in on the battle.

Sea World "Explorer's Reef"

Manta is Sea World's newest attraction!
By D.Z.
Just in May Sea World San Diego opened Manta, an all new rollercoaster. Now they have something else on the horizon. It is to make the front entrance bigger and better. You will be able to enter the park under a sculpture of a wave. Then you have the chance to interact with some sea animals. It will all be called "Explorer's Reef!" Construction will begin in December. It will be completed in early 2014. How cool is this? I am sure every guest will love "Explorer's Reef."  Please note that a temporary entrance will set up during the construction process.

Stomp Review

By D.Z.
Have you ever heard of Stomp? Stomp is a show put on by eight people. They make music out of many things like trash cans, signs, sticks and much more. The show tours all over the world. It is really cool. It is a laugh out loud comedy and the audience gets to interact a lot. I really reccomend seeing the show. It is well worth every penny.

Frankenweenie Review

By D.Z.
Over the weekend, I was able to see Tim Burton's Frankenweenie. The movie is about a boy named Victor bringing his dog Sparky back to life. Sparky died after being hit by a car. The movie is based off of Tim Burton's thirty minute short he created in 1984. In my opinion the movie was not my favorite Tim Burton film. Some parts seemed unnecessary for the film. Also I don't really know what the moral to the story is. Something I really liked was how Tim included some scary scenes and scary characters. Also I enjoyed how the movie was in black and white. I would have to give this movie a 3 out of 5.
