San Diego Trip Report: Hotel Del Coronado

On March 29 I was able to take a trip to Coronado Island. This island is located next to downtown San Diego. Its home to the world famous Hotel Del. The hotel is celebrating its 125 anniversary! Here are some photos we took!

 

Inside the main lobby is a big chandelier. Its very vibrant and colorful.

The hotel sits on the beach.

 

FUN FACT: On the beach lies a mysterious wall. This wall used to be apart of the Coronado pier.

'Limited Time Magic' Presents: Cars Land Cone Hats

Starting in April, you will be able to purchase a limited time Cars Land cone hat. The hats have the Cozy Cone Motel signature with a sign at the bottom saying "No Vacancy". You can purchase these hats at Sarge's Surplus Hut. This is all apart of the 2013 'Limited Time Magic'!

 

D23 Expo Japan 2013 Lineup

Disney has recently announced some of the presentations coming to the first ever D23 Expo in Japan. The convention will run from October 12-14 at Tokyo Disneyland. Here is the presentation lineup!

 

On October 12, presentations include: (presenters in bold) "Executive Presentation" Bob Iger, "The Magic of Disney Parks" Tom Staggs and the "Disney Classics Special D23 Concert".

On October 13, presentations include: "Tokyo Disney Resort 30th Anniversary Special Program" and "The Secrets of Japanese Dubbing of Disney Movies".

On the final day October 14, presentations include: "New Walt Disney Studios Lineup", "Kingdom Hearts Fan Event" and "Disney Friends in Concert With Avex".

Big Bear Snow Play: Review & Trip Report

You probably knew Big Bear California doesn't always snow! Luckily you can go to the Big Bear Snow Play! Here you can go snow tubing on man-made snow! To get up to the top of the slope, you go on a "magic carpet". The lift will quickly take you to the top. Don't worry about long lines... The park has so many lanes to go down! You hardy have to wait on a crowded day!!!



 

 

Snow Lake Lodge: Review

Need a good place to stay on your Big Bear California trip? Snow Lake Lodge offers an unique experience. The rooms are very cozy, and has the wilderness atmosphere. The lodge is relatively close to everything. Not to far is Downtown Big Bear and Snow Summit.  Out of 5 stars, I would rate my stay a 4!
