Those that attend San Diego Comic Con are mostly annual participants, but if not, below are some tips on how to make the best of your trip.
-Bring your own food: It is all about time. The event is only once a year. Do not spend time searching for lunch when you could've been checking out a booth or be inside a panel. Though, it is good to bring money just incase you're looking for a good snack.
-If you wear a costume, be prepared to take pictures with people: You will feel sort of like a celebrity at times, but that is not always a good thing.
-Get at lines at least an hour early: You want to be ahead of thousands of others, not behind them.
-Bring your own bags, poster tubes, backpacks, etc: You will be loaded with a lot of different flyers given out.
-Don't expect to get into all the panels you want to: There are so many other people that want to get into the same panel as you. It doesn't always work right.
-Watch out for the crowds (all around you): You are sharing the air space along with many other visitors worldwide.
-Keep track of people and stuff: It can get crazy inside. Keep an eye on those you went with and your stuff.
-Meet people: You're bound to find someone with the same interests!
