At the end of February, Team USA
will leave Sochi, Russia as the world's best in slopestyle. Slopestyle is a new
event at the Winter Olympics, which has given Team USA two gold medals.
Yesterday, February 8, Sage
Kotsenburg won gold in the men's slopestyle and posted on Twitter:
Also yesterday, Hannah Kearney won a
bronze medal in women's freestyle skiing. She also posted on Twitter, stating
that she probably would've preferred a gold or silver medal, but she
contributed to the Team USA medal count, can settle for a bronze, and believes
that everything happens for a reason.
Lastly, this morning, February 9,
Jamie Anderson won Team USA's second gold medal in women's slopestyle. Keep it
up, Team USA!!!
