In the last few weeks a lot has
been announced involving Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. Both Universal
Orlando and Hollywood both have very exciting things.

At both Orlando and Hollywood, they
will be having 'Alice Cooper' haunted houses. The 'Alice Cooper' houses will probably
not be the same, Universal releasing the names you can tell. They are both very
different. This was all confirmed in a video Universal released. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOZZurL0vdQ The Hollywood version will be actually be in
3D. Talking about Halloween Horror Nights, here is what Alice Cooper had to
say.“I grew up watching classic Universal horror movies so it’s a thrill for me
to work with Universal’s designers to create the quintessential Alice Cooper
maze for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal
Orlando Resort. To have Alice Cooper haunted attractions at both parks this
year is truly an honor…or is it a horror? Last year, Universal Studios
Hollywood scared the wits out of me with their maniacal and demented creation
and they’ve promised to up the ante with ‘Alice Cooper Goes To Hell 3D.’ I
can’t wait to see the final terrifying masterpiece. It will be hell! I’m even
more excited to see Universal Orlando Resort’s maze, ‘Alice Cooper - Welcome To
My Nightmare.’ Let’s see if they can scare me!”

Another scare spot at Halloween
Horror Nights is the ‘Walking Dead.’ Here is the walking dead video announcement.

Speaking of the Walking Dead, just last week at San Diego Comic Con, Petco Park
was home to the Walking Dead Escape. Maybe the maze at Halloween Horror Nights
will be similar to the maze at SDCC. Here is what Universal Studios Hollywood
Creative Director John Murdy had to say. “For fans of the series, we’re going
to put you in the footsteps of the characters on the show. You’re going to have
to try to survive the zombie apocalypse. Only now, you’re not in your living
room watching it, you’re living it.”

As you can tell, there is a lot of
themes going into Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 2012. The best part of all is,
if you are going to the one in Hollywood or Orlando, you are going to see the
same themes and concepts. Hopefully when this all starts in late September, we
will be able to list the differences, if there is many.
