Over the weekend, I was able to see Tim Burton's Frankenweenie. The movie is about a boy named Victor bringing his dog Sparky back to life. Sparky died after being hit by a car. The movie is based off of Tim Burton's thirty minute short he created in 1984. In my opinion the movie was not my favorite Tim Burton film. Some parts seemed unnecessary for the film. Also I don't really know what the moral to the story is. Something I really liked was how Tim included some scary scenes and scary characters. Also I enjoyed how the movie was in black and white. I would have to give this movie a 3 out of 5.
