The Walt Disney Company Buys LUCASFILM for $4 Billion

Just today, President and CEO of the Walt Disney Company Bob Iger, Disney's CFO Jay Rasulo and founder of the amazing Lucasfilm, George Lucas all got together in a conference call. This is not the first time they have talked. is all over the Disney theme parks. Announced today, The Walt Disney Company purchased the rights to company. George Lucas's films are still very popular today. This includes Star Wars and Indiana Jones. The Lucasfilm company was bought for $4.05 billion dollars.

           Disney plans to keep the Star Wars journey going, by making new episodes. In development now, Star Wars Episode 7 will be released in 2015, later fallowed by episodes 8 and 9. They will also make movies on the different characters of Star Wars like Boba Fett, Bossk etc. By the way Mickey Mouse will NOT be in the upcoming Star Wars films. And to all you people who think it will suck, Disney made the Avengers and George Lucas will be an advisor. :)
