HOME: Movie Review

(Trailer courtesy of the YouTube channel "DreamWorksTV")

By Zach Cooper
Based on the book comes "HOME". The movie credits popular stars like Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna. The film is about a group of aliens called the "Boov", who are running away from their feared enemy the "Gorg". The Boov go to the place where they believed they would never be found: EARTH! To inhabit the planet, the Boov relocate all the humans to other parts of Earth. The only person that was not moved was a young girl named Tip. She then begins a search to find her mother.

In another direction of the story, one of the Boov's named Oh is having a house party. He is very disliked among the Boov community. When no one shows up, he decides to send an e-invite to all the Boov on planet Earth. This invite was also sent to their enemy the Gorg, who was about to know their current location.

The movie takes you through tons of twists and turns once Oh and Tip's story's meet. I really did enjoy the movie. The film was very unpredictable at times, which I thought was great! Out of 10, I would rate the film an 8.
