"Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2" Review

By Zach Cooper

Paul Blart and his Segway are back in another action-packed movie! Kevin James once again brings out the laughs, even more than the first film (2009).

This film takes him and his daughter Maya (Rani Rodriguez) to Las Vegas, where Paul is invited to a security-guard convention. While there, Maya stumbles through a wrong door and gets put in the hands of a new group of enemies, who are stealing art from the Wynn. This new setting broadens Blart's adventure.

The film also focuses on the relationship between Maya and her father. Paul's security-guard pep talks begin to ruin their relationship. She is about to head off to college, so these last final moments cannot be wasted.

I throughly enjoyed the film. I felt like the completely new setting really made the movie super compelling. I did feel like the film started off a little slow, but it got intense very quickly. Through all the laughs, I would give the movie a 9/10. Kevin James rocked it as Paul Blart. Can't wait to see his his next adventure!
